Hello all from the great state of Texas. Class of 1977. I lived at Alconbury and of course sowed my wild oats at Lakenheath LOL. I am married with a 17 year old son and 15 year old daughter. Living in the Dallas area in a surburb named Desoto. I am working for
XO Communications as a tier 3 Tech Support engineer. I ride my Yamaha Virago 1100 for relaxation and I am learning to play golf. Of course Tiger Woods is not scared of me yet. I still hang out with JC Clemmons, and we love to lie about the old days. Take care and I miss you all as my England days were the best of my life and the best people that I have ever known...Dean Baines...hollar when it Texas..Go Cowboy's

Hi Everyone. My family was stationed at RAF Alconbury 1970-1974. I attended an English school for one year while living in Wyboston. Transferred to Molesworth my eighth grade year. Lived on Chelveston base housing until we left in 1974 for Alamogordo, NM.
I have been married to my love, David for 37 years in April and we have two beautiful daughters, Jennifer, 30 and Michelle 24. No son-in-laws or grandbabies yet. Only our Shih Tzu Roxie Hart.
Living in Pearland, Texas outside of Houston where I am a Special Education teacher.

We are now living in Central Texas after many years of living in the Dallas area (Kessler Park). We lived off base at Leighton Bromswold and moved on base the last year or so we were there. Both of our girls have moved away and have now been married for several years. After about 15 years of being a Fire Fighter/Paramedic in the motion picture industry, went back to school and became an RN, and now work for the State of Texas.  My wife who is also an RN (for much longer than I have been) are Master Gardeners and love to use photography as an excuse to go traveling. You have no idea how much I miss Alconbury and England in general. First date, first kiss, first dance, first time to drive a car . . . Those were the best days of my life. Still like to fantasize about going back on a working holiday for a year. But that probably won’t happen.

Made contact with Shawn Crosgrove and William Nelson. WOW
Your best memory?:
Catching the train from Huntingdon to London. Then having to call Mom to say I had missed the last train home. Problem was I suppose to be at a Boy Scout Function at Alconbury. Thank God Mom never found out why we would run off to London. :)

;Hi everyone! so good to connect back up with everyone from Molesworth. Have already hooked up with Mary Bone who was living here in Georgia recently. She has since moved back to Texas. That "reunion" was just amazing. Our family lived out on Mountbatten Drive on the Westwood estate in Peterborough. The long ride on those coaches was interesting when I was still attending Alconbury elementary. Even more interesting and fun was the ride to Molesworth. Does anyone remember the "truth or dare" game and singing "American Pie"? I got alot of practice kissing those girls, hah!
Your best memory?:
Dances at the AYA, playing truth or dare in the back of the bus on the way to Molesworth Jr High

I went to 7th grade at MJH 68-69. Some friends were Mark Moody, Phillip Church, Scott Comer, Jim Smart, Susan Adams, Debi Gallant, Pat Condon. I worked in the UK in '02-03, and tried to visit Molesworth for nostalgia's sake. Very heavy security because of the joint services intel operation there now, and no one gets on without official business. But I was able to get onto Alconbury with no problem. It had changed remarkably little, and many areas were easily recognizable from the late 60s.
Your best memory?:
The Rod & Gun Club on Alconbury, next to my dad\\\'s office. Everyone on the bus singing to The Foundation's "Build Me Up Buttercup."
