Guest Book

I was surprised to come across this site when my curiosity led me to Google Mountbatten Way! I lived in Peterborough on Mountbatten Way from 1969 to 1973. I remember the Faucettes, Hoyles, Weatherfords, Stevens, Imburgias, and Eddingtons. I was the shy freckled-face red-head. I live outside Dallas and my brother, Danny, lives in Tucson. It's so great to see people still connecting from our past.
Attended RAF Molesworth from 1972-73 and RAF Lakenheath from 74 to 75. Lived in Peterborough on Mount Batten way.
Mary Bone is looking for someone to share a room with at the reunion. Contact me if you also need to share a room.
My dad was at Alconbury from 1966 until late 1968, and I attended Molesworth and Lakenheath (for all of three weeks until my dad was transferred). Still have yearbooks from 1967 and 1968. Like many of you, these were the best years of my young life. I still think our teachers were among the best I ever had. I can remember flying back and thinking how brown and dirty the States were (after England).
My father was stationed there from 1973-1978. Alconbury is forever a magical place in my memories.
I lived in England from 1970-1974.
Attended Molesworth from 64-65 and then Lakenheath from 65-67. The one teacher that I remember the most is Mr Bixby, I had him for art.
I lived in England in the late 60\'s. I started 1st grade at Molesworth..I believe my teachers name was Mrs.Wright, I also had a Miss Biewald..I can\'t remember the other one. I left in 69. My dad helped coach the Alconbury Spartans football team...his name was Elbert F Gore Jr (Carson)
Great website!! My sisters and I are very interested in the 2019 reunion! We lived on Alconbury from 1969-1973, and attended the elementary school. I started kindergarten in 1970, and had a good friend named Scotty Troutman. Our Alconbury years were the best!
What up! I would like to have the 2010 reunion at the AYA on Alconbury Air Force base. Or better yet the bowling alley. Or even better than that, the NCO club. Do I have any takers. Alright Alright lets have it in a city where the travel time to and from the hotel is minimal. I am sure people do not want to rent a car and spend their time riding to and from the airport. You want to be able to get in a cab and be at the hotel quickly. These are just a few things to keep in mine. Later, Scott Comer
Christine Baker where are you? I finally made it to another reunion and you weren't there . . .
wow, great site, great pictures.Hopefully see you at the next reunion.Anyone every bump into Kieth Baker or Steve Reimschissel?
Be sure to vote for the location of the 2010 reunion. Go to the "Poll Page" and choose between Vail, Denver, Las Vegas and Chicago. Let's make the Silver Anniversary Reunion the most attended reunion since the first one in 1985!
Hello there everyone. Wow, its been a long time. So glad to have found this website. Hope to hook back up with ya\'ll. I remember Jamie Hudson, the guy who used to write JH all over the place at Molesworth. Man was he a bad influence on me. Please get people to upload some class pics of us out of the yearbooks from those years, \'71-\'74 I also remember Chris Metz who bullied me all the time. Does anyone remember Tony "the Tiger" Perkins? So many memories especially of the dances at the AYA on Fridays. Look forward to hearing back from anyone out there.
This is Nicky Seeley. My brothers are Tim Seeley and Ian Seeley. Tim graduated from Lakenheath in 1972, I believe. I was lucky enough to attend Molesworth during the last year before it was \'condemned\'... (At Molesworth, I was known as "Ian-Seeley\'s-Sister")
WENT TO MOLESWORTH ALCONBURY AND LAKENHEATH. FIRST CLASS IN THE NEW ALCONBURY JR HIGH. REMEMBER THE AYA DANCES AND THE BOWLING ALLEY. PLAYED BASEBALL ON THE ALLSTAR TEAM THAT WENT TO GERMANY IN 75/76
Hi I knew nothing of this reunion until I got a call from Charlie Fausette & Gary Bila the day of it. I\'m from Denver but living in Cheyenne. That was an exciting phone call and I will not lose touch again and I\'ll make the next one for sure. They got hold of my brother Joe too. Whoever wants to contact me, please do so.. Diana
We are making plans to come. Thank you, Kim, Scott and Steve for all your efforts here. You have done much to prepare for these reunions! We look forward to making this one! ROCKLEIGH GOLF COURSE is just 10 minutes away. Anyone up for playing golf with my husband?
I attended Moleworth Junior High from 1969 -1971 in the 8th, 9th and 10th grades. We lived in Peterborugh on the economy. I do remember the long bus ride from Peterborough to RAF Alconbury and then to RAF Molesworth every day. I played baseball on the Alconbury 13 team in 1970. I recognize a lot of the names in the posts but I have not had any contact since we left England.
Thanks Kim for all your hard work, again! The reunion was great and it was wonderful to connect and share with special friends! Mike enjoyed meeting everyone as well and witnessing our special bond. Our vote is for VAIL!! With the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains as our playground - Mike, the VailGuy, would love to help in any way! Much love to ALL! Sheri xo

Live on Mount Batton way from 71 -75. Attended Molesworth and graduated Lakenheath in 75. Joined the Airforce in 76 and retired in 97. Worked for the government for 10 more years and a computer memory manufacturer for another 10. Retired now with wife #3.. Together we have 5 kids and 11 grandchildren. Now I spend a lot of time golfing, building models and train layouts and quilting. Enjoyed being away from home at lakenheath...Had some really nice times
My father was stationed at Alconbury AFB from 1971 - 1973. I attended Molesworth and Lakenheath. I was friends with Tim Seeley, Roseann Vicerkery, Glenda Higgins, Mindy Allen to name a few.
My dad was stationed at RAF Alconbury and I attended Molesworth High School from \'61-\'62.

I just saw this page while looking for information on Molesworth. I taught English and history at Molesworth Jr. High 1971-74. It was a great experience. It is wonderful that so many of you have stayed in touch.Martha Braddock
Can someone send me Roxane Utsler's email address? Or phone #.
We just bought plane tickets to London for March 2008. During our vacation we will make a pilgrimage to Peterborough, RAF Molesworth, RAF Alconbury, Huntington and RAF Lakenheath. If anyone has anything specific they would like a photo of, please let us know. We will post all photos on this web site when we return. If anyone cares to join us, we will be staying at the Holiday Inn West Peterborough from March 24-26!!
Hey Michael -- since you can get on base being a retiree, how about photos of Alconbury -- even if the buildings are no longer there! Alconburians: DON'T FORGET TO VOTE ON WHERE YOU'D LIKE THE NEXT REUNION IN 2010! So far, Denver leads, Vegas is second, and it's a tie between Chicago and Vail. It's also not too late for suggestions, although these four were in the top choices of those who have voted.
What an awesome site! Just found it and you guys have been doing this for years. I was at Moleworth from 68 to 71. I also had two brothers Richard Morton and Kenny Morton both younger. Would love to hear from anyone and everyone! Thanks KIM!
nice web site. i recognise a few people. alive and well in Michigan.kent
My family was in England from 1969 to 1975. Me and my sisters Beverley and Linda have great memories of our time at Molesworth and Alconbury!
I am heading back for another visit to London/Alconbury/Peterborough in October. (specifically Oct 11-16) If anyone has any photo requests, please let me know! I still have more pics to post from my trip this past March. Looking forward to seeing everyone in 2010.
Just when you thought the world was small, it gets even smaller....we met Steve & Marilyn Cox at the reunion and discovered they live very close to us. The other evening Michael was at the home of our neighbor discussing the reunion and discovered he has worked with Steve Cox for a few years at The Pentagon. Steve, in case you see this: Our friend and neighbor (two doors down) is Lt. Col. Bert Ges.
Thanks a million to Lisa Stevens. She led me to my long lost best friend..Stella Shortridge. Thank you again Lisa
THANK YOU, my dear Alconbury friends, for the beautiful silver platter, engraved with all of your names. It is a keepsake I will treasure forever! I love you all!
Still alive and kicking in Gonzales Texas.
Hi Kim! The radio just happened to play an old Roberta Flack song, "First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" and it brought back fond memories of days spent in the Day Room, long bus rides, and the dorm life at Lakenheath (and the time we were playing hooky, ditched our suitcases in the back hall of the hospital only to find they had evacuated it thinking the alarm clock in our suitcase was a bomb!). I wondered how I could make a link to the past, some of my old friends, and found your wonderful website! I've already contacted several names from the past. Thank you! -Pamela Dickson
Is it too late to vote on the location for the next reunion? I just discovered your website. My vote is Vail also. Another alternative might be Copper Mountain in the Rocky Mountains, not far from Vail. A great little ski town that offers lots of condos, restaurants and large conference (party) areas during the summer months. Instead of hotels, they offer 2-3 bedroom condos at a very reasonable summer rate. Lots of hiking, fishing, etc. Kim, if you will send me your address I can send you a barrage of info about Copper Mountain. I just returned from a conference there. -Pamela
Hi, I went to Alconbury Elementary in 1970-72 (all of 5th and 1/2 of 6th gr.) Finished 6th at Molesworth Elementary in \'72. On to Molesworth Jr. High for 7th and 8th ending in "74. We lived in St. Neots, Hartford and finally Chelveston.Came back to the states in Aug.1974 to retire at Beale AFB,CA.Graduated in 1978, married 29 years, three sons(28,twins-26),1 granddaughter!
What it is----What it is----What it is
I lived in Molesworth Housing 1968- summer of 1970. I attended Molesworth Elementary and JR High at Moleworth. Would love to hear from anyone that lived there or attended the schools during that time period.
was at alconbury from 1980-1984 (most of 2nd grade-first couple months of 5th). Older brother, Pete. Younger brother, Seth. All my teachers names began with the letter "B". Bates, Barnes, Bernard....I'm missing one. Remember Kevin McCormick, lee macfarland, mike Mullins. Horse heads & King Cobras basketball "team". I recall the rings we used to play on and flip them over the top bar, the see saws we used to launch each other off, tether ball and wristbands, when it would snow and the principal would let us run and slide (and bust our rears) on the icy blacktop. Researching and putting on our own plays for the whole school.....one about a prediction/love machine, one about aliens. Lived in st. Neots most of the time but back on base for about a year before moving to Germany. The luxury buses we rode for an hour and half to get home....our bus driver that would let us jump off the bus. The bowling alley and the dusty baseball fields, playing in jeans and black shirts with iron on letters. 4th grade field trip overnight to London, the London Dungeon...could you imagine that trip for 9 year olds today? Hope all are well. What a great time!
Interestingly enough, my dad sent me this link. While it is true that a few years back I made initial contact and my name was added to this list of Alumni, I never followed up and unfortunately missed the 2007 reunion (which I was hopping to attend). I will see if I can do a better job of staying informed and try to make the 2010 reunion.
It\'s been almost 1/2 century since my days at Molesworth & Chicksands! We were kids and teens from 61-65 in England...great times...great memories, even if they are fuzzy. If you were there in Mr. Bixby\'s class or Troop 291 (\'sands)-give me an electronic call. Steve.
I miss and love you all, may God bless you and may we all see eachother again, God willing, and the creeks don\'t rise.
Merry Christmas to all my friends...we pobably haven\'t spoken in decades but my wish to you all is health, happiness, and prosperity for the coming years!!!
A happy and prosperous New Year to all my old Molesworth friends!!!
Kim: I was VERY excited to see that a 2010 reunion is a reality. I will be there this time because I refuse to miss another one! I was miserable all weekend knowing what fun everyone was having and missing you guys greatly. Love ~ Jean
