I attended Molesworth Jr/sr. High as my father was the base Fire Cheif at Alconbury. My Madien name is Kenney. We left Alconbury in 1974. It was the year I would have attended Lakenheath. I spent all 4 years at Molesworth. I was bussed from Alconbury. I hung out with Gail and Avril although I have since forgotten their last names. Very excited to see if I can find old friends after all these many years.

hello everyone.  My dad was Dave Peltier.  We were there in the off base housing in Molesworth.  My brother is David.  Probably from 71 to spring of 74 when we came back to the states. I was in 4th grade at Molesworth Elementary when we moved.  I had gone to Brington kindergarten.  I wish i could find the picture of me and my classmates for our class photo in front of the playground swings.  I remember there being a creek bed where we would pretend we were riding our horses up and down.  There were some girls who brought horses from the kids for riding lessons to the molesworth housing.  I remember sitting in fields behind the housing and making strings of daisy chains and blowing on dandelions.  Blackberry bushes lined one of sides, oh they were yummy!  The playground where all the kids would gather to play.  I remember my little brothers setting one of the farmers cornfield on fire.  I remember only two names from those days.  Laura and Pamela Houle.  Alot of fond memories.

Hello and so nice to read all the messages.  I attended Molesworth 1967 - 1970.  Pat Mendiola and Mary Lynn McKee were my closest friends , but clearly remember so many others.  I leave in bossier City  Louisiana but am temporarily living in New Orleans for a work assignment.  Glad to hear the next reunion will be in the Big Easy.

My wife Debbie and I were stationed at RAF Alconbury 1972-1974 and would like to hear from any of our old friends from the 10th Supply Squadron.

I attended Alconbury Elementary from 1970-1974.  One of my teachers was Mrs. Merrill (can\'t remember other names), classmates Ricky Black, Ted? Maria? (I must have Alzheimers!). I especially remember a field trip to York, and many trips to plays in London.  I have an older brother David and younger brother Dale.  Let me know if there is anyone out there that has the same memories.

I just found the Molesworth Facebook page. Iwas at Molesworth Elemetary for the last part of 4th grade, went o Alconbury ES (5&6th), Moleworth JHS in 72 & 73,  After we PCS\'d I went to Offutt for 18 months, and then we went to Zweibruecken Germany (Class of 77) where I graduated.  My family PCS\'d Stateside, however I was in love & stayed in Germany.  I found a job on the local economy and worked contruction for three years. I married the girl that kept me in Germany (28 years of marriage & still going)and joined the USAF.  My first duty station was Zweibruecken AB, in the same squadron that my  dad was in. I retired after 24 years and currently work for the US Corps of Engineers In New Orleans while living in Ocean Springs MS. I don\'t know why I never looked for Molesworth before this.  Kim Morgan steered me to this page. I have on occasion looked for people I could remember names of, without success. I found Michael Barefoot on this page. (hey Mike do you have a facebook page?) I did not get a year book.I do have some interesting memories: from England, how about running from Ken Kline and diving out the the bowling alley window to get away. He was trying to collect the blue football jersey I had, so I ran (the team was changing to Red).Shawn CosgroveClass of "77"

Hello all. I don\'t know if anyone remembers me but I was at Molesworth from 68-70 and was a dormie at Lakenheath from 70-71. We moved back to the states in 71 and I graduated from high school in Oklahoma in 72. I still live in Oklahoma today. Found this website today after a friend from Lakenheath sent the link. I browsed through the photos and found what looks like me standing in the background of the "cutting up in class 1970" picture. If my memory serves me right, that is Calvin Herron in the foreground. Anyway, just thought I would sign in and say hi.

Wow is about all I can say.  I stumbled on this site by accident!  Of the many schools my sisters and I attended Molesworth has always been a topic of conversation for us.  Waiting for the bus in the cold damp fog, the long bus rides, the 'go home yanks' signs in the windows of the local school buses, and the freedom we felt at the school, and that d___ typing class! We attended Molesworth during the 72/73 and 73/74 school years.

comment by John Johnston

Damn alot of good memoires on these pages.Been along time and many miles good to see people still kicking.Kim you have done a great job,be proud. Great to know people havent forgotten where they came from like anyone could forget their times in England.Peace.J.J.

Hello ya'll,   I was on FaceBook looking the other day for friends when I went to Molesworth 68-69, Lakenheath 69-70.  I finally found Julie Quigg and Pam Fuller.  I knew they build a High School on Alconbury and Molesworth become an active base, but I do not know if it where we went to school.  There is also a website for the earlier years called Alconburybrats.  My thoughts are "How many guys should have taken typing back in Junior and HS."   LOL

Just found out about this site from Estella. We both left Molesworth at the same time and landed at Travis AFB, CA. way back in '74. Nice to read some of the comments posted on this site. My 14 year old visited England this past summer and went to Alconbury and Molesworth. He had a blast. Glad to see so many of you keeping in touch.

Wow, I'm still trying to absorb this site even exists.  Thanks Kim for all your hard work and same to all the rest of you Spartans working so hard to keep our precious memories alive.  Went to Alconbury 68-72, Moleswork 72 and left for "the States".  Still giddy over the pictures and slideshows.  My daughter's looking over my shoulder, now she knows what I've been talking about all these years.   If I have any old friends out there feel free to get in contact.  I found Bambi Ringer......she turned me on to this site.

comment by Terri McKenzie-Parker

Hi!  So great that someone built this site.  I was just thinking of Molesworth and wondered if there were any pics online of the old school. Never even considered there would be an alumni site.  WOW!!! My sister Cindy and I attended Molesworth from 1969 to 1971.  Dad was stationed at Alconbury, and then got a compassionate transfer to come back to the states to help take care of his mom.  I haven't attended any of the reunions, but I'm so glad that you have made this site, to reconnect.  I have an old class picture and will try to scan and send to you for info.  Thanks so much and be blessed always.

I cannot believe I found this site. After all these years, the memories of Molesworth and Alconbury came rushing back as if it were yesterday! I had some great times over there. I would love to attend the reunion. Kathy Pare' are you the sister of Lori Pare'? We hung out when we lived in Chelveston. Pam Ray (Eckels) are you Kathy Eckels' sister? She was a great friend. I would love to get in touch with either one of those ladies.

comment by Debbie Sherrill

Hi ! So many memories flooding back, Moleshole... Long twice daily bus rides through the foggy english countryside to our military quanset hut type school. Running cross country and never quite catching Jackie Faussette, Ms. Davis typing/shorthand classes , speed tests Stefanie,  Beverly, and Siobahn. Maxi/midi coats and boots, host nation class, soccer,  a certain song that I think Butch Jackson always sang can't think of title at the moment but when I hear it (takes me back) We moved there from Spain in 1970-1973  and lived in Huntingdon, then on base very 1st street after MP gate next door to Joanne and Karen Koloski. Mike Reid, Eddie Bleiler, Russell Mayes, my brothers knew some of those guys. Bob and Chuck Sherrill, they attended the very 1st reunion in Dallas. They told me they saw the Porters and Lackeys, and so many others and had a great time. I remember so many of you, and recognized so many names!!  Umteen yrs. ago I was working in a store, 1st part time job, in a then unknown town in Texas and who comes down an aisle- in all the towns and cities in the USA,  Bev Gomez, made me think what a small world it really is, and then I saw her again in a crowd at Six Flags!!! How great to reconnect/remember with those that shared that time together overseas. I'm  sentimental, enjoyed the photos, wonderful site Kim! Hope to hear from any of you. Much love, Deb

WOW... I am speaking at a summer camp in Klamath Falls in Oregon. A woman helping here happens to be married to Doug Dean who's sister is Debbie Dean both Alconbury brats . She got me thinking about the good old days and I went online and googled Alconbury... And well, here I am. I played on the Jr. Spartens in '74 also, linebacker jersey #58. My dad coached that year. I'll see what i can do to find some pics and get them on here... Later, Dean

This is AMAZING!!! I stumbled upon this reunion website earlier today and I've been waxing nostalgic ever since. I've already emailed several people and heard back from two so far—Estella Shortridge, who was my first love, and Diane Scott, Estella's best pal. I haven't seen any of you for 35 years+ and this is sooooo cool. From looking at the photos on the website I can see that Wayne Sullivan hasn't changed at bit. Wayne I would love to hear what's going on with Gail and Gary. Hope all is well. As soon as I can dig up some old photos I'll upload them. It's great to see pics of the Everett's, Chris Metz, Mr. Snively, Carol Comer, Rory Alexander, Sheri Woolf, Mr. Bunch and others. It's also great to see pics of the ol' stompin' grounds—the AYA and RAF Molesworth. Anybody ever hear from any of my old 1974 Jr. Spartan football teammates? I played wide receiver, Keith and Terry Baker were halfbacks, Mike Pollack was our quarterback, Eddie Norton was another receiver and Billy James was our linebacker. I saw that my teammate Paul Ristow has already signed in and I've sent him an email and I'm waiting to hear back. Again, this is soooo cool!! Thanks to everyone who has had a part in putting this nostalgic tool together. Peace and blessing, Darryl Wilson Molesworth/Alconbury 72-75

I have wondered for years where I could contact people I went to school with at Molesworth. Though I stayed in trouble most of the time, those years of...66, 67,  68. They were so memerable and fun.  I recognise some of the names in the alumni list such as Debbie and Sherry Pastere..they were sisters. Mark Serrency..He and his brother came to Engand from somewhere in Florida and boy did my best friend Sheri McKnight have a big crush on Mark's brother (can't remember his first name).  Mark was always easy to talk into somekind of craziness Sherri would think up. And Vicki Church.  She was a very good girl and never in trouble and every one liked her.  I have 2 old molesworth yearbooks that I will get out and if I can figure how to put them on this site, I will ( for some of us ole timers).Just another short story.  Sheri and I were in some class sitting in the back . The teacher had to step out , well sheri and I snuck out a window and ran over to the building where the office was.. snuck into the girls restroom, stopped up all the sinks with toilet paper along with all the toilets, flushed the toilets and turned all the water on snuck back into class before the teaher came back. The halls were flooded! They thought it was done by sheri and I but could not prove it .  Think we were bored??

Carol! I can't believe Scott hasn't told you about this site or the six reunions we've had over the years! I just assumed you weren't interested. Peggy Rankin is on our email list. If you'd like, I'll forward your email address to her. Let me know at alconbury_reunion@yahoo.com

I had no idea about this website. I have often wondered where everyone is and how in the world I would ever be able to see people again. Anyone know where Nicola Smith and Peggy Rankin are? What about Marshea Hart?

If you want to touch base with Alconbury folks in the "here and now," go to www.facebook.com. Lots of alumni are on the site and it's a great place to motivate friends to come to the reunion in 2010.

Wow!  Isn't this all a blast from the past.  I attended Molesworth Elem. in 1974-75 and then Alconbury Jr. High from 75-77.  I have just recently found Erin Milligan and her brother Rick.  Still looking for Cindy Price, she would've attended Alconbury the same years I did.  This is a wonderful website and I do hope to attend a reunion soon.Frosty63@cox.net
