Does anyone remember Pauline Walden or Bridie Comac? They met some servicemen at Alconbury in 1972. Would really like to get in touch
Lived in St Ives (not in the Anglo housing). Attended Molesworth JHS 72-74, and graduated Lakenheath HS in 76. My dad was a Chief who ran Job Control at Alconbury and was there from 72-80. Mom was a 2nd grade teacher at Alconbury Elementary. I don't know if I'll make the reunion this year, but I'm gonna try.
I was surprised to come across this site when my curiosity led me to Google Mountbatten Way! I lived in Peterborough on Mountbatten Way from 1969 to 1973. I remember the Faucettes, Hoyles, Weatherfords, Stevens, Imburgias, and Eddingtons. I was the shy freckled-face red-head. I live outside Dallas and my brother, Danny, lives in Tucson. It's so great to see people still connecting from our past.
Attended RAF Molesworth from 1972-73 and RAF Lakenheath from 74 to 75. Lived in Peterborough on Mount Batten way.
Hey Leonard Arnold! It was ME who was Vice President when you were Treasurer and Shawn O'Neill was Prez. Aren't you glad I jogged your memory!
Hello All, I lived in Chelveston base housing. Attented Molesworth Junior High 1964 through 1967 - left in December of my sophmore year. Best friend Patricia Keeney, Mary Halfen, Karen Miller, classmates I remember Gary Gray, Gloria Allen, Robert Sauerwein, Kitti Browing, Linda Malloy, Penelope, David Wachter and Glen - brothers, Garland Stamper, Gay Tradeau, Jackie, Cook, Melody, Gloria, and many more... What wonderful memories... oh and David Kellso!! Patricia keeney and I ran into each other at Choctaw High School, Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Still friends.. Would love to hear from you - if you have found memories during those years... Debbie "Wood" Summerville
Hello from England...I see some of you are still together....Well Done! Not real good with the new computer days... Cheers! Mr. Bunch
Has anyone heard from Wayne Sulliavan?
Telephone: 618-541-2298 If anyone would like to share a 2 bedroom suite @$375 a night with me and my brother Allen, please contact me ASAP. If we get a 2 room suite @ $375.00 for a total cost of around $750 I think that 3 of us could go in together and share a 2 bedroom, that would work out great! It would be about $225 each for a two-night stay. Call me at the above #.
I cannot believe I found this site. After all these years, the memories of Molesworth and Alconbury came rushing back as if it were yesterday! I had some great times over there. I would love to attend the reunion. Kathy Pare' are you the sister of Lori Pare'? We hung out when we lived in Chelveston. Pam Ray (Eckels) are you Kathy Eckels' sister? She was a great friend. I would love to get in touch with either one of those ladies.
Wow, I'm still trying to absorb this site even exists. Thanks Kim for all your hard work and same to all the rest of you Spartans working so hard to keep our precious memories alive. Went to Alconbury 68-72, Moleswork 72 and left for "the States". Still giddy over the pictures and slideshows. My daughter's looking over my shoulder, now she knows what I've been talking about all these years. If I have any old friends out there feel free to get in contact. I found Bambi Ringer......she turned me on to this site.
Mary Bone is looking for someone to share a room with at the reunion. Contact me if you also need to share a room.
My dad was at Alconbury from 1966 until late 1968, and I attended Molesworth and Lakenheath (for all of three weeks until my dad was transferred). Still have yearbooks from 1967 and 1968. Like many of you, these were the best years of my young life. I still think our teachers were among the best I ever had. I can remember flying back and thinking how brown and dirty the States were (after England).
Truly loved my days at Feltwell and Lakenheath!
Just wanted to pass along some info to any of you Molesworth/ Alconbury folks that ended up at Lakenheath High School that there is a new online site for you to network at. The addy is lakenheath.ning.com Check it out. Later
This will be my first opportunity to attend one of these reunions and I can't wait to see all of my old friends again!
My father was stationed there from 1973-1978. Alconbury is forever a magical place in my memories.
Hi! I went to Alconbury Elementary. 72-73 school year I was in kindergarten and had Mrs. Harms. 73-74 school year I had Mr. Woolen something. Nobody could say his name so we all called him Mr. Carl. I had a brother, Billy, two years ahead of me. He had Miss Newsome. I have lots of memories and visuals in my head but they dont seem to match the pictures I googled of Alconbury Elementary. I guess it was at a different location then. Id love to know where it was. Anyway.. Some of my memories are sketchy. It seems like at Thanksgiving time the school walked over to a building where we had a big fancy lunch. Maybe it was the nco club? I remember a play ground with see saws in the back? If anyone could tell me where the alconbury elementary campus was 71-74 that would be great!
What up people?Been a long time and a longer road.Hope youve had as much fun as I have.Kim great job and its good to see so many familer names. In one of the reunion pics is a Alconbury baseball jersey, well Kim if youd like to have the#76 football jersey id like to send it to you, dont tell know one.You got to love life and live the dream.Hope to hear from at least someone.J.J. I lived in England from 1970-1974.
Attended Molesworth from 64-65 and then Lakenheath from 65-67. The one teacher that I remember the most is Mr Bixby, I had him for art.
I lived in England in the late 60\'s. I started 1st grade at Molesworth..I believe my teachers name was Mrs.Wright, I also had a Miss Biewald..I can\'t remember the other one. I left in 69. My dad helped coach the Alconbury Spartans football team...his name was Elbert F Gore Jr (Carson)

The Hotel is honoring the great rate Scott negoatiated for the entier stay. Also we got some very good pricing on air tickets this far out. It is not too soon to make your arrangements!! Best regards Steve
Great website!! My sisters and I are very interested in the 2019 reunion! We lived on Alconbury from 1969-1973, and attended the elementary school. I started kindergarten in 1970, and had a good friend named Scotty Troutman. Our Alconbury years were the best!
I attended schools at Molesworth and Alconbury from 1970-1975. Made it to a reunion in 1990 (I think) and it was a lot of fun to see familiar faces all grown up! I won't be at this reunion but I'm sure it will be a great time for all who are able to make it.
I am still living in West Palm Beach and was not aware that I had become lost. Nice to hear that there will be anothler reunion. Not sure if I can attend yet. Most of my family still live here in Florida in fact we are all going on a cruise this March to celebrate my parents 50th wedding aniv. My sister Donna is a traveling nurse and lives all over the country. Among other places she has lived 3 years in Alaska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York and is currently in Connecticut. Her email address is dpm957@aol.com
Has anyone talked to Wayne Sullivan or know if he is coming? I have left messages on his home phone, but so far, no response. And has anyone talked to Roxane Utsler, or Nancy or Debbie Nies?
What up! I would like to have the 2010 reunion at the AYA on Alconbury Air Force base. Or better yet the bowling alley. Or even better than that, the NCO club. Do I have any takers. Alright Alright lets have it in a city where the travel time to and from the hotel is minimal. I am sure people do not want to rent a car and spend their time riding to and from the airport. You want to be able to get in a cab and be at the hotel quickly. These are just a few things to keep in mine. Later, Scott Comer
Christine Baker where are you? I finally made it to another reunion and you weren't there . . .
wow, great site, great pictures.Hopefully see you at the next reunion.Anyone every bump into Kieth Baker or Steve Reimschissel?
Hello everyone from wild and wonderful Alamogordo. Just wanted to wish all those going to the reunion great times. I trully would have liked to have been there to see all the old people(JK). Maybe next time!
Be sure to vote for the location of the 2010 reunion. Go to the "Poll Page" and choose between Vail, Denver, Las Vegas and Chicago. Let's make the Silver Anniversary Reunion the most attended reunion since the first one in 1985!
Dad stationed at RAF Alconbury 1975-1979, played AYA football 77, 78. Had fun, partied alot and enjoyed England I will retire in Norwich to live out my days.
WOW... I am speaking at a summer camp in Klamath Falls in Oregon. A woman helping here happens to be married to Doug Dean who's sister is Debbie Dean both Alconbury brats . She got me thinking about the good old days and I went online and googled Alconbury... And well, here I am. I played on the Jr. Spartens in '74 also, linebacker jersey #58. My dad coached that year. I'll see what i can do to find some pics and get them on here... Later, Dean
Hi ! So many memories flooding back, Moleshole... Long twice daily bus rides through the foggy english countryside to our military quanset hut type school. Running cross country and never quite catching Jackie Faussette, Ms. Davis typing/shorthand classes , speed tests Stefanie, Beverly, and Siobahn. Maxi/midi coats and boots, host nation class, soccer, a certain song that I think Butch Jackson always sang can't think of title at the moment but when I hear it (takes me back) We moved there from Spain in 1970-1973 and lived in Huntingdon, then on base very 1st street after MP gate next door to Joanne and Karen Koloski. Mike Reid, Eddie Bleiler, Russell Mayes, my brothers knew some of those guys. Bob and Chuck Sherrill, they attended the very 1st reunion in Dallas. They told me they saw the Porters and Lackeys, and so many others and had a great time. I remember so many of you, and recognized so many names!! Umteen yrs. ago I was working in a store, 1st part time job, in a then unknown town in Texas and who comes down an aisle- in all the towns and cities in the USA, Bev Gomez, made me think what a small world it really is, and then I saw her again in a crowd at Six Flags!!! How great to reconnect/remember with those that shared that time together overseas. I'm sentimental, enjoyed the photos, wonderful site Kim! Hope to hear from any of you. Much love, Deb

Please get people to upload some class pics of us out of the yearbooks from those years, \'71-\'74 I also remember Chris Metz who bullied me all the time. Does anyone remember Tony "the Tiger" Perkins? So many memories especially of the dances at the AYA on Fridays. Look forward to hearing back from anyone out there.
This is Nicky Seeley. My brothers are Tim Seeley and Ian Seeley. Tim graduated from Lakenheath in 1972, I believe. I was lucky enough to attend Molesworth during the last year before it was \'condemned\'... (At Molesworth, I was known as "Ian-Seeley\'s-Sister")

We are making plans to come. Thank you, Kim, Scott and Steve for all your efforts here. You have done much to prepare for these reunions! We look forward to making this one! ROCKLEIGH GOLF COURSE is just 10 minutes away. Anyone up for playing golf with my husband?
I attended Moleworth Junior High from 1969 -1971 in the 8th, 9th and 10th grades. We lived in Peterborugh on the economy. I do remember the long bus ride from Peterborough to RAF Alconbury and then to RAF Molesworth every day. I played baseball on the Alconbury 13 team in 1970. I recognize a lot of the names in the posts but I have not had any contact since we left England.
Thanks Kim for all your hard work, again! The reunion was great and it was wonderful to connect and share with special friends! Mike enjoyed meeting everyone as well and witnessing our special bond. Our vote is for VAIL!! With the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains as our playground - Mike, the VailGuy, would love to help in any way! Much love to ALL! Sheri xo
